When children start crawling and walking, the oven door becomes an attractive place to explore — the low handle, tempting smells, and glowing light all draw them in. The REER child safety lock for oven doors helps prevent a child from opening the oven unnoticed, protecting them from dangerous burns and falling hot objects. ✔ Effective protection against burns Protects the child from the dangers associated with opening the oven door by preventing contact with hot food, pans, and the inside of the oven. It also helps prevent heavy or hot items from being accidentally pulled out. ✔ Double locking mechanism – especially safe The lock is equipped with a double-opening mechanism: two side buttons must be pressed simultaneously while the locking part is turned to the side. This combination is too complicated for small children, but adults can easily open the lock with one hand. ✔ Easy installation – strong, heat-resistant adhesive The lock attaches quickly and easily — simply remove the protective film and stick the lock onto the oven. The heat-resistant 3M VHB adhesive tape ensures a secure hold even at high temperatures. When the lock is no longer needed, it can be removed without leaving marks or causing damage. ✔ Flexible use – suitable for most oven models The lock can be installed in the required direction: downward, to the right, or to the left. This makes it suitable for different oven models and knob layouts, whether they have 4 or 6 rotary knobs, retractable controls, or standard ones. Safety instructions Attention! This product has been developed to protect children. It is not a toy and does not replace adult supervision. The product provides protection for children up to approximately 24 months of age. Do not underestimate your child’s abilities or developmental progress. As soon as the child is able to operate the safety product independently, it no longer provides adequate protection and should no longer be used. Use the product only for its intended purpose. Do not use the product if there are signs of damage. Check regularly that the product is securely attached. Caution! Whether the product can be removed without residue depends on the durability of the surface to which it is attached. Installation instructions Before attaching, clean the surface thoroughly — it must be free from dirt, dust, and grease. Use a cleaning agent containing at least 50% alcohol (for example, rubbing alcohol; do not use glass cleaner or kitchen cleaner). Caution: make sure the cleaning agent is suitable for the surface. During installation, ensure that the two markings are aligned.
